MARY ANN GREEN is based in St Ives and the influence of west Cornwall is prevalent in her work. Often better known for a painter of dancers, she continues her association with the Ballet Rambert and has featured in a film of her work. Mary Ann has developed her styles of water colour landscapes and bright monoprints. Two of these are reproduced as giclées for the first time. These are inspired by the geography and myths of the Isles of Scilly, a magical place that continues to draw her back.
We look forward to producing her studies of Ireland and west Penwith in the future, alongside her vibrant dancing figures.
